Stinger and Fideaux sigs

Well I was asked by Ladyhawk to create this surprise sig for stinger. Started off with the scorpion. And went off adding different effects, the guy and the background heli.

This was hard as the dog was ugly and Fideuax wanted that dog :P

Gump sig and the charity thing up until now

Well here's the first version but the eyes ticked me off so I changed it accordingly to Heraclas' and Immolation's suggestions.

And here's the charity thing up until now:

A different assignment

Well thanks to the comment suggestion I was able to pool smth darker off. Hope you guys like it.

I'll be creating a new sig for myself + I have some sig requests I have to take care of.

Hairy rendirl ;)

I like it a lot even though it's simple and all...

Photo manipulation ;)

Before:
After:

:D

Cyborg and a space marine(?)

Well here's the cyborenduy:
Wanted to get that 3d effect on the renduy. Also put a part of his face so to show the detail... + a lot of smudging.

And here's the space-marine-kinda-renduy:

Used mostly the render ;) hahaha...

Here are a couple of renders I might use in my future projects:

(render + guy= renduy, render + girl= rendirl, simple)

Pace yourself.

Yeah I got to do it... Cause manifacturing similar sigs is worthless.

Let me show you... This one sucks a bit:

A lot of work and checking out different effects, masks, photo filters, 1 c4d, 2 smudge layers...

BK poster?

Why not? I think I should create a BK poster (I created a couple leaflets). I plan on creating it in an old style. Well I'll wait and see what happens... Don't know how it's gonna come out.

Ok... I don't think I have energy to create anything complicated... This one's original resolution is 8100 by 10073 or smth.. pretty big. So here's a quicky...

The rendirl

Well this gril was annoying...
And I made this...

Found a couple of some great renders, maybe I'll do smth with them. He're they are:

Dead Space

Great fan of the game myself. Spent many dark winter nights on that sweet game. As creepy as Alien vs Predator 2 the game ;) anyways my quick siggy tribute. This blog keeps me working :D

And here's my first sketch for the banner for the 2nd top gun tournament winner (if that things going to be held every month I'll soon run out of ideas) .

I made this...

And from this Cpt. America...

3 next projects

These are bases for my 3 next sigs.

This guy leaves me a lot of space for getting creative. >:)

Don't know about this one. Will have to do some heavy editing to make it work.

I started some work on this one.. Cause I had to create a bit of his leg- I rotated the original render and that's why a bit was missing.

A tutorial post

Time to create something new. Let me look through the render stock I collected.
So here are 2 awesome renders. Or rather... renders of awesome pics.
Now... I got to figure out which one to use ;)

Ok after a closer look they're not so awesome. The guy in the second one has a nice sword and the cape is quite epic but his face/ mask/ helmet sucks. And also the "I want you" gesture is so cliche it get's sickenning sometimes... So I've decided to use the first one... even though it's quality is not so good. But I'll see what I can do...

Ok so I thought that I'd use the similar technique I used on the fallout 3 heavy armor or whatever it was. At least at the beginning. Ok so first I chose the part of the render and rotated it.

Then I started of created the background. A dark blue layer with two sources of light. One on the left- almost not visible. And second one on the right- stronger cause the reflection on the monsters head was quite strong.

Ok so as you may have notived I modified the render a bit. Yeah I thought it was too light and I wanted to get that nightish effect. So that the figures are outlined by the light. So first I added a levels adjustment layer (while pushing alt click the half white, half black circle and choose levels, check the box) and darkened it a lil bit. Then I went to Image-> Adjustments-> Shadows/ Highlights. Played around a litle bit to darken the whites a bit.

Next up I duplicated the background layer and checked out what different blending modes would create. I chose Color Dodge cause it brought out the light then I decreased the FILL to 20%. Ah I'm doing it all in the present (while writing this) so I don't know what's gonna come out of this.

Next of I created a black layer to darken the background a bit. Set it to overlay at 25% opacity.

I copied the original render before the size reduction and placed it behind the main render. Erased everything, but the monster face. Changed the blending mode to multiply. Lowered the opacity to 75%, reduced the fill to 95%. Thought that it should blend even more, to make it look like it's getting dissolved in the light. So I took out the dodge tool (the icon looks like a magnifing glass or smth...) and with range set to highlights and exposure to 30% I clicked 2 or 3 times at the render and a few more times at it's edges.

I duplicated the render layer and smudged it. And set the blending to hue. I was surprised to se the nice blood effect it gave me.

Next I created a 2 pixel wide line hinting a shot being fired. I set the blending mode to overlay, because as the background behind it darkens it darkens as well, so it gave a natural gradient to the line. I added outer glow to the line (if you double click on the layer a window with different blending options appears) with color dodge as the blend mode with 31% opacity, spread 8 and size 5.

I duplicated the smudge layer changed the blending mode to Color Dodge and erased the red part of it. So it added a litle light above the guy on the left.

I used a photofilter mask at the render. Chose blue color and increased the opacity to 50%. I also darkened the hand.

Next of I used another clipping mask on the render with the fallowing texture. Set it to soft light and reduced fill to 30%

Added some dark red splatter. Set it's blending mode to color.

Placed the same texture just above the background (below the half transparent render). Went to Image-> Adjustments-> Desaturate. Set it to vivid light with fill at 50%.

Added a part of the following C4d and set it to Overlay.

Next of I added this texture above all the layers. Set the blending mode to Multiply at 90% Fill.

Sellected an area on a new layer and hit edit-> stroke and chose a lemon yellow color. Set it to overlay.

And the finnishing move was to duplicate the stroke layer.

Well I erased a bit of that yellow stroke in the top right corner;)

Well that's it. That was a pretty hard-to-pull-off post. Half way through I was worried that it's not gonna work. But I made a little break and finished it. Comment if you please ;)

It appears I'm uploading more images than in the first post, hahahaha...
